A. Personal Statement
I am a surgeon/Scientist with a strong interest in basic, translational and clinical urological research, particularly related to prostate. I am currently the Frederic N. Schwentker Professor and Chairman of the Department of Urology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. I was an Assistant Professor of Urology and Oncology and Director of Urological Oncology at the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center prior to my recruitment to Pittsburgh at my current position. I am fully supportive of this application, and will facilitate its goals in every way possible.
